Primacy Health Group Foundation Overview
The Primacy Health Group Foundation is the primary philanthropic arm of the Primacy Health Group, LLC in the United States.
The Foundation has a strategic focus for supporting awareness and success. The emphasis is on maintaining healthcare awareness for a better quality of life, supporting women as catalysts for economic development and philanthropy, and educating individuals that want to become first-time entrepreneurs.
Founded as a 501(c)(3) in July 2010 as the Yale Mallinger Foundation, the name was changed to Primacy Health Group Foundation in 2016 following the creation of the Primacy Health Group, LLC to coincide.
Primacy Health Group Foundation Focus Areas
The Primacy Health Group Foundation seeks to have a meaningful impact by focusing on and publicizing the importance for maintaining preventive healthcare awareness, creating economic and philanthropy opportunities for women, and educating individuals interested in becoming an entrepreneur.
Preventive Healthcare
The Primacy Health Group Foundation supports products and programs that target preventive healthcare measures, because we believe that maintaining good healthcare practices leads to a better awareness of one’s health and thereby reduces overall costs. Individuals that participate regularly in a healthy lifestyle that includes daily exercise, a healthy diet, and having regular preventive healthcare procedures performed, can lead to a healthier life, provide detection, and prevent individuals migrating to more serious issues and expensive healthcare costs.
It is the premise that if all Americans were able to have annual examinations, blood draws, and educational awareness, early detection of health issues could be identified, potentially be taken care of before they migrate to something more, and overall healthcare spending would cost less.
The Foundation partners with companies and network providers who are willing to participate in assisting economically disadvantaged individuals in having an opportunity for better preventive care and early detection. These businesses and providers coordinate with the Foundation so that local non-profit organizations and homeless shelters can facilitate participation.
Women’s Economic Development
Supporting women’s economic development and philanthropy provides short and long-term benefits to them, their families, their communities, and the country. The Foundation uses networking, training, education, and technology for assisting women in achieving their purpose in fulfilling their mission, vision, and values in their own projects. The Foundation annually selects its “woman of the year”, awards her with a financial grant for use in her own philanthropy project, and creates a scholarship for the “woman of the year” that will carry her name for use at a mutually agreed upon university.
At Primacy Health, we understand when women excel in a forward moving direction, the world moves along with them. When women are in charge of their income, they invest in the health, education, and success for their families, communities, and other women’s initiatives.
The Foundation’s selection of the “woman of the year” award is directed towards successful women who have accomplished either a community based or a global initiative that resulted in successfully impacting the health and well-being of families. In conjunction with Primacy Health Group, LLC’s strategic partners, the Foundation focuses on originality, research, and technology that resulted in success.
